Sunday 19th July
As Myra is helping some youngsters to climb Ben Nevis on Saturday 18th this months BEMAC walk is going to be based around Fort William. Organisation will be a bit different this time as Myra and Jimmy will be there for the weekend anyway, Di and Kev are booking themselves into a BB on Saturday night and Sheena and I are also staying at the Glen Nevis YH after driving down from Ullapool at the end of our holiday. So if anybody else wants to go you will have top organise your own accommodation and transport to be ready to walk on Sunday morning. The targets are Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg on the east side of Loch Treig. Map no 41. Starting from Fersit. Myra may still have some YH places available as some of the younger group have called off. Please let her know asap if you are interested.

The website is now up and running www.bemac.org Anybody who wants walk photos posted please either e mail them to me or send prints and I will scan them. Perhaps different people might like to write the walk report from time to time to get a different perspective on things.
